P4GYP is a co-ed life skills program focused on IT TAKES TWO, INC’s four pillars: bullying, financial literacy, college and career readiness, and youth entrepreneurship. It is geared toward 5th – 9th grade students to help them successfully handle their transformative years – middle school – as it sets the tone for high school and college.
Good stewardship is a leader's foundation. Community service and leadership are the foundation of this program. College admissions officers are looking for youth who are leaders and believe in giving back so we will depend on these concepts heavily in the program.
Fun, engaging, thought-provoking activities and outings held monthly that will help you and your child grow and make middle school and the start of high school a great experience.
We have guest speakers lined up who will encourage your child while tapping into their gifts, passions, and talents. Through P4GYP we plan to open their eyes to the possibilities while making sure they are socially and academically prepared.
The purpose of the IT TAKES TWO Reading Challenge is to promote reading, creative writing skills, critical thinking, and artistic expression in school aged children. Reading instruction and comprehension activities will be facilitated in class or after school program. At the completion of the book, students keep the books to add or create a home library and to encourage reading with other siblings.
IT TAKES TWO, INC will provide free books to participating classes to include after school programs and other programs facilitated by organizations in Maryland.
To apply, email us at readingchallenge@ittakestwoinc.org to receive full program requirement, guidelines, and application.
Books are distributed on a first come, first basis.
